About the Role
As a customer service representative, you are the first person a client speaks with over the phone, email, and in person. You often take the initial history of the pet and start the appointment process through scheduling appointments appropriately. Job duties also entail handling payments and invoices, working alongside vet techs and assistants throughout the day, assisting with call backs and medication refills, counseling owners on medication administration, cleaning duties, boarding reservations, and general cleaning duties to maintain clean and presentable spaces.
Requirements
Proficient in computer skills, data entry, and managing a schedule.
Excellent customer service with emphasis on client and patient care.
Knowledge of veterinary medicine and/or animal health is a huge plus!
Must be able to multi-task and work in fast paced, often noisy environment.
Must be able to handle adverse smells and not mind cleaning up after animals.
